Data tracking can be a total nightmare. More so if you’re doing it on your competitors as well. This is why the we want to make things easier for you guys. We will be launching a new feature very soon (ahem, backlink monitoring feature) but right now, we just want you to know how important it can be.
Here, I’ll list what I love the most about BacklinkGap that gets me more sleep than before!
Keep informed of backlink status
Is it just me, or has anyone been frustrated with the sudden loss of valuable backlinks that you weren’t being updated on? Isn’t it great if you are notified the moment it happens? At the very least, once you know what backlinks you lose, you can reach out to get things sorted out.
And not only links that you’ve lost, but newly added backlinks will be tagged in the dashboard for your knowledge as well.
Monitoring link outreach
I do a lot of link outreach and guest postings. So, I need to make sure that the other party keeps their promise of link exchange on their end. BacklinkGap’s new feature will let you check your new backlink statuses to ensure that it’s up and alive.
Add notes to monitored links
Another tiny but essential bit of feature that will make your life easy. You can add notes or reminders to each backlink you’re monitoring to keep track of your work.
Point out outdated links
Okay, this doesn’t have much to do with monitoring backlinks (in the short run), but I just wanted to point this out for you guys. Although older backlinks can age well like wine, some may come from old or expired domains. In that instance, you might want to remove them.
Or, in cases where you think you have better content that you want them to point to instead, hit them up for an exchange and continue your monitoring.
